This is Part II of Cristina and Jig’s amazing destination wedding in Cancun, Mexico. They had both a Catholic ceremony and Hindu wedding ceremony. Check out Part I to see highlights from the first part of the day and the Catholic ceremony in the resort chapel.

For the second part of the day, while Cristina did the finishes touches getting ready for the Hindu Ceremony, Jig was surrounded by family and friends for the Baraat. This is a custom where the groom is escorted to the wedding location in a lively procession of music and dance. I haven’t been a part of many Baraats but Jig’s was awesome and everyone was rocking out, following him over to the front of the wedding alter, which was right on the beach (Tucan Beach at the Moon Palace Resort).

The Hindu ceremony ended in perfect time as the sun set quietly behind us and then it was off to the dance floor where the couple were announced at the reception to the tune of a Mariachi band! It was an amazing two part day and I was so happy that Cristina and Jig picked me to be a part of it. cancun wedding | Adrienne Fletcher Photography | desitnation weddingcancun wedding | Adrienne Fletcher Photography | desitnation weddingcancun wedding | Adrienne Fletcher Photography | desitnation weddingcancun wedding | Adrienne Fletcher Photography | desitnation weddingcancun wedding | Adrienne Fletcher Photography | desitnation wedding
